He's afraid to commit

So I know this guy from an online app, we had a one night stand and things were going pretty good. We hang out, go to dinner, drive around, and text every night. At first he lives with his friend and before me entering his apartment, he would always tell me to wait out the hall until he sneaks me in. I feel like "am I really embarrassing for him to show me to his friends?" and that question mark never left my heart. He said he really like me and loves to hang around me but he just doesn't and not ready to date yet, which I understand because he said he's the one that usually gets dumped and now he's afraid to commit. We had arguments about it but we always made up. Until one day he moves and I help him move, I stayed over for the night and the next day I even made him strawberry dipped chocolate. However when his friends came over to borrow a screw driver he hid me in the closet again. I got so mad and stopped talking to him but his explanation is that his friends are still virgins and he's the one that always get the girls so his friends are jealous of him. He said his friends already hate him and if they know he have another girl they'll get jealous and hate him more. Now guys don't u think something is fishy?! Well I think so. I confronted him tonight and saying that I want to end this whole weird relationship. He said he loves spending time with me and don't understand why I want to end something that is this good. He said that parting is hard and just because he doesn't call me his girlfriend, he feel really sad to let me go. For me to believe him that he don't only use me for sex he won't ask I until I m the one that ask. And I did ask him to commit to me and he did, and he said I should trust him. And he told me to leave him alone for tonight and which I did.

So here comes the question...

Should I continue this relationship or should I just end it?!

Why do u think he hide me from his frds, and do u think his reason is reasonable?!

Do u think he really likes me?!
